Game rules and objectives

The players' objective is to cross the eco6themes grid by answering question-and-answer cards and to climb as high as possible on the eco6themes barometer.

Along the way, joker spaces and planet spaces allow players to make choices and answer other types of questions, with different effects on their progress across the grid.

The game draws on knowledge, logic and intuition, as well as chance through the die and tactics through the option to choose whether or not to take risks.

Several game variants are described in the rules included in the box. Players can choose specific themes, answer all the questions on the same card at the same time, or answer them one after another. These variants make it possible to play faster, focus on selected themes and answer the same questions.

You can play alone, with several players, in teams and, of course, cooperatively.

A game can last from a few minutes to more than an hour, depending on the number of players and the discussions that arise.

The question-and-answer cards cover a wide range of important topics. They highlight solutions that are good for the environment, help save money and contribute to a healthier, safer and more enjoyable life.

Other ways to use the game:

To increase the game's value and make lasting use of all its components, other uses are suggested. The eco6themes boxes, cards, boards, dice and pawns can be used to play other games.

Examples of other games:

• Card games: In the latest versions of the game boxes, use the cards numbered on the front as a standard deck: 1 as the Ace through to 13 as the King.
• Goose game: Cross the grid by first going down the first column and then up the second. The die shows how many spaces to move. On a joker space, roll again; on a planet space, move forward three spaces.
• Checkers: Place three pawns at the top and three at the bottom of the barometer. Move one space at a time and try to capture an opponent's pawn. When you land on a joker or planet space, move one additional space.
